Juno recently came out on DVD, starring Ellen Page, Michael Cera, Jennifer Garner, and Jason Bateman. I purchased it on the day it was released. I absolutely love this movie. Ellen Page is fantastic and Michael Cera is insanely cute. I loved this from the moment it started, it was funny and sweet. It also has an amazing soundtrack, featuring lots of Kimya Dawson music. Extremly lovable film!

Last night I rented Guillermo Del Toro's The Orphanage (El Orfanato) which was very good. It was a very creepy drama/horror/mystery flick with a Pan's Labyrinth-like overall feel. It had a bit of a slow start, but once the story got going it was like trying to piece together an eerie puzzle. Great startling moments, but not an edge-of-your-seat thriller. It's a great movie for a rainy evening on the couch.

(Rated R)

This afternoon I saw Baby Mama with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. I must say I was a bit disappointed considering how much I love the two of them. It definitely is not as funny as advertised, but it's very cute. Worth watching, but I recommend renting it not paying for it in theaters.

(Rated PG-13)
